HIMTI Study Tour 2005
Finally… I went out with my friends (HIMTI!) on the HIMTI Study Tour. They came here on July 6th and spend 4 days here. I accompanying them for days. They went back home today. It was so fun spending my time with them. It has been one month since I’m here and I felt lonely even I’m not alone. Having them in my days was really great. 
I don’t know what to say.. It’s.. FUN!
Daniel came here two days earlier before the group. I also accompanying him walking around the town. We visited numerous of places in several hours. That was tiring, but I enjoy the talks we had on our way, the laughter when we’re waiting for the train (MRT)…
This is how it goes:
On the first day, they arrived here late. So we have to re-schedule the plan. Right after putting all their luggages on the hotel, we take the MRT to City Hall. Then we walked through CityLink Mall to the Suntec City Mall. We had our dinner there. After having the dinner, we walked to Fountain of Wealth and spent another 15 minutes there. After that we walked back through the CityLink Mall to Esplanade and Merlion. We took some pictures there. (can’t wait the result..) Finally we went back to the hotel by MRT from Raffles Place MRT Station.
On the next day, they visited NTU and SSC. I joined them after my Unix&Windows OS class. I went to SSC to meet them. Then we all went to Sentosa using the bus provided. We took the green line bus to Siloso Beach before going to Musical Fountain. The show on musical fountain was great and amazed most of us.
On the third day they spent their money! They went shopping… They visited a souvenir shop, Funan IT Mall, and finally, Orchard Road. We can walk wherever we want along the Orchard Road. I met up with the others on Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station at 10 pm. Most of them were bringing big shopping bags. Hehehe.. They should be satisfied enough having the discount being offered everywhere.
Today is their last day in Singapore. Some of them hadn’t contented enough and still wanted to have some shopping. They went to Chinatown to buy some souvenirs. Then they prepared their luggage and went to Harbour Front using the bus. They crossed the strait to Batam before flying back to Jakarta.
Now they are on their way back to Jakarta. Each of them brings unforgettable memory, and me too! 
Even they came here not to visit me specifically, but I would like to thank them all for the visit!
