Sim Lim Square & National Library
I have heard about Sim Lim Square from my friends and online forums. It is said that Sim Lim Square (or SLS for short) is the best place to get computer and electronic stuff with bargain price. Having curiosity of it, I decided to visit SLS. The first thing I did was searching its location using streetdirectory.com. I took some notes of the direction to SLS from the nearest MRT Station, Bugis.
I spent nearly 2 hours in SLS, walking around from the 1st to the 6th storey. These are my opinions about SLS:
- Crowded
- A little bit confusing (The building is not well designed, not easy to navigate)
- Quite smelly (I don’t know what scent was that… It was quite smelly, really!)
- And finally, price variance (Make sure you get the best price by comparing the price between shops)
Afterward, I walked to Bugis Junction and had my dinner there. The foodcourt was really crowded and all seats were occupied. So I had my dinner at Yoshinoya. I had chicken teriyaki, which was too salty, and miso soup. I was quite disappointed with the dishes…
Before going back home, I visited National Library beside Bugis Junction. I found some good books and magazines there. This made me considering the Library membership.
I like books.
I enjoy being in reading lounge.
