Last class in 2005
Today is the last day I’m having lecture in 2005. Next week is eLearning week, comes with lots of assignments due on next week (friday).
The last lecture class today was Web Publishing. It ends at 12 noon. I went to one of the computer lab to finish my stuff. Guan Chuan, Jackson, Gary, Wei Keong and some other friends are playing DoTa. I finish my stuff at 4 and they ended the game. We’re then walked to Foodcourt 2 and get some meal. Because block T4 is near the Foodcourt 2, I decided to submit my works before going to Foodcourt 2. Just a few moments afterwards, Mr Lee called me. He told me that the letter for the Community Service was ready to be picked up and the ICT office is closing in 30 minutes. So… I walked back to T19 to collect the letter.
When I reached the ICT office, there was a notice on the glass door, "ICT office is closed". It seems that there was some event (or meeting maybe?) going on. Luckily there was a lecturer opening the locked door using his smart card. So I can "follow" him enter the ICT office. And… I met lots of lecturers walking around, sitting on the sofa, eating foods, chatting, … The meeting might had ended and they were enjoying the refreshments.
Ms Lim, my previous VB lecturer, was there. She asked me if there’s something I need. I told her that I was there to collect the letter for Community Service. I also met Operating System lecturer, Windows & UNIX lecturer, and many more. After a short conversation with Ms Lim and she understood the purpose of my presence there, my Operating System showed me the way to Mr Lee office. Finally I got the letter and walked out the office.
I walked back to Foodcourt 2 to meet my friends. I ordered my meal from "Cooked Food" food stall (wierd name… of course the food is cooked. otherwise, nobody will buy). Anyway, the fish fillet and tofu was nice. 
So… after having my meal we all walked to MRT station.
On MRT station Guan Chuan and Jackson changed their mind. They decided to do something else. Only Gary, Wei Keong and I went to Orchard. We visited Apple Centre to look around Apple’s new gadgets. And as usual, they’re really impressive! no doubt.. cool~ The new iPod is really thin, have a clear n sharp display, playing video. Cool~ While the PowerBook … cool cool cool~
We’re then walking around, visiting Borders bookstore, walking in and out of shopping malls and finally went to Esplanade. We walked to Esplanade library, sat on the sofa there, resting our legs and listening to jazz music (outdoor performance).
After having enough rest we discussed the projects and assignments we had for the eLearning week. We made great and strict and grand and …whatever_it_is. So… we walked walked walked and walked in and out of shops and shopping malls until 10 pm. Before going home we ate @ McD Suntec (the only place that’s still open).
I reached home at few-minutes-to-twelve.
Turned on the PC, play the music, checked mail, feelin like bloggin

A few days ago I received an A4-sized envelope with overseas mailing address on the sender’s detail. Ya… A novel (draft) is sent to my mailbox. I’m going to read that novel and write its review @ Amazon during this Christmas holiday. Thanks to the author for his generousity, sending me a copy of his novel.
