less restart, higher productivity
I played around with the widgets in my dashboard and I noticed how many days Vic has been up & running smoothly..
This doesn’t mean Vic is on continuosly for 6 days. I put Vic to sleep when I’m not using it. But I’ve been using it heavily these past few days at campus & home for:
- schoolworks: graphic design (adobe), report&writeup (pages), web development (dreamweaver),
- surfing the net: e-mail, chat, online radio, blogging, download+install apps,
- entertainment: music, podcast, video, games,
- and even launching WinXP several times (via Parallels) to do vb+aspx+asmx thingy..
note: WinXP crashed twice.. I did ForceQuit the Parallels and re-launched it.
In short, heavy tasks for at least 8 hours per day; continuosly for 6 days.
Hm… that’s heavy..
Yet,
Less restart, higher productivity.
This thing is proven to be true..
