D’Cinnamon

D’Cinnamons is an Indonesian unplugged-acoustic band established in September 2004. The band consist of 3 members, 2 female and 1 male, Dodo (Lead Vocal and Rhythms), Bona (Lead Guitar and Vocal), and Laut (Acoustic Bass and Vocal). Their debut album “Good Morning” released in early of 2007 with their first single “Loving You”.

This song is one of the soundtracks of Cintapuccino. I wish I had watched this movie last year!

Giving My Best, was formed ten years ago, to be exact on April 1996, with their significant performance held in Red Top Hotel Pecenongan, Jakarta. With youngsters as targeted listeners, the band members who are Sidney Mohede (Vocalist), Pongky Prasetyo (Keyboard), Daniel Sigalarki (Guitars), Adi Prasodjo (Percussions), Amos Cahyadi (Drums) and Jeffrey Hermanto (Bass) believed that together they could be a blessing for the young generations by making a breakthrough in Indonesian’s Christian Music scene, which at the time was not making such phenomenal progress.

Leslie Feist (born Friday, February 13, 1976 in Amherst, Nova Scotia) is a Canadian singer-songwriter. She performs as a solo artist under the name Feist, and as a member of Broken Social Scene.
Raised in Regina and Calgary, Feist got her start in music as the lead vocalist for a punk band called Placebo (not the more famous British band Placebo), who won a local Battle of the Bands competition and were awarded the opening slot at a Ramones concert.

Samsons is a band from Jakarta, Indonesia, formed in 2005. They classify their music as “Pop/Rock with a hint of Jazz”. The members are Bams, Aldri, Erik, Konde and Irfan. Their first album is titled “Naluri Lelaki”.

Samsons band yang digawangi Bams Reguna Bukit (vokal), Erik Partogi Siagian (gitar), Irfan Aulia (gitar), Chandra Christanto (drum) dan Aldri Dataviadi (bass) terbentuk tahun 2003, tepatnya 14 Juli. Awalnya, nama band pelantun lagu “Kenangan Terindah” ini bukanlah ‘Samsons’ namun Equal dengan personel enam orang (dua diantaranya adalah vokalis). Belum sempat rekaman, vokalis cewek & drummer memutuskan keluar. Secara bermusik anak-anak Samsons datang dengan jenis musik yang berbeda. Dari aliran musik ngepop, ngerock, jazz, alternatif dan musik minimalis. Jadi tak heran jika aliran lagu Samsons bercampur-campur. Tetapi secara umum mereka lebih condong ke musik pop.

Namie Amuro

Biography
Namie Amuro, born 20 September 1977, is a Japanese pop idol from Okinawa, Japan. She is one of the best-selling artists ever in Japan with total sales of approximately 27,000,000 singles and albums. By September 2007, she has released eight original albums, 2 best-of compilations, and 34 singles. After leaving girl group the Super Monkeys, she struggled her way into stardom. She debuted in 1995 on the Avex Trax label with the single “Body Feels EXIT”, which was an instant hit. The following singles “Chase the Chance”, “Don’t wanna cry” and “You’re my sunshine” all sold 1 million copies during a short period of time. In 1996, Namie released her debut solo album “SWEET 19 BLUES” which sold 3.8 millions of copies throughout Japan and broke sales records at the time.

More than 100 Indonesian artistic talents in Singapore will showcase their aptitude to combine traditional and modern music, weaving in contemporary dance movements with traditional, and staging a theatrical retrospective of eminent moments in Indonesian history.

Catch the special guest star performance by Tompi, a nominee for Best Male artist at this year’s Anugerah Planet Muzik who’s going to sing hits such as Salahkah, Lulu dan Siti, Selalu Denganmu and many more; and Eka Mairina, the winner of 2003 Anugerah competition in Suria TV. Eka will collaborate with IAF 2007 band to perform songs of the festival and belt out her hit singles with her powerhouse voice.
